Okay, I decided that I'd make a contest. Currently it's only me who's doing the prizes, but I'd be extremely happy if somebody else would help out. Because I'm only one person and all...and it would be really great to have multiple artists giving out prizes. I'd prefer however, if your art is of somewhere around my skill, at least. Y'know? No offence to those of you who aren't, it's just preferrable. ^^ If not, I'll lower my bar, but...yeah. So, I'm up for offers about prizes and such as well. Subscriptions, art, whatever. ^_^

The contest has four categories, and there are specific rules for each. Each has to do with Dances with Demons, my comic. Feel free to wait until there are more pages, the deadline is a while away and may be changed, depending.

Category One

Y'know, I've had some difficulty designing a cover for DwD. So the first category is all about the cover for the first issue. Use whatever theme, characters, etc. you want, as long as they apply to the comic and all. Don't throw a character who appears in one page in there in the middle of it, lol.

Rules

1. It must be your own work, you can't copy and paste fanart/bits of the comic onto it and call it a cover.
2. It must have the title: "Dances with Demons", and must contain a url to my account as well as yours.
3. Must contain Capricorn. Besides that, I'm not concerned about which characters are on it.
4. Doesn't need to display a scene from the comic.
5. Can be done with more than one person.
6. Can be done using any sort of tools, digitally or traditionally.

Prizes

First: Their cover may be used as the cover for Dances with Demons: Issue One. One free, full coloured drawing (with background) by me.
Second: One free, full coloured drawing (with background) by me.
Third: One free, full coloured drawing (no background) by me.
Fourth: One lineart by me.

Category Two

Throughout Dances with Demons, Cyanide will be mentioned/seen, but never up close enough to see her markings. She'll always appear as a sort of silhouette, never with her markings really showing. Or she's just seen from a distance. Anyway, Cyanide, being the main antagonist of DwD, should have a design, right? So, I have a design laid out for her...but I'm curious as to what you guys think she looks like. >D So category two is all about drawing Cyanide.

1. Go off of what you see in the comic, remember that she has green eyes!
2. Don't make her look like an already existing character of yours, or mine for that matter...or anyone else's, really. o.o
3. You can add on wings, horns, etc. I mean, she doesn't have them, but I'm fine with that. xD
4. I'm not using yours, the winner is just picked because I like their design, not because I'm using it.
5. You can use free lineart, but I'd prefer if you used your own.
6. Can be doen using any sort of tools, digitally or traditionally.
7. Can be drawn in a scene or something also. :3 Doesn't have to be like a character sheet.

Category Three

Well, here's one for those of you who usually don't draw wolves/dogs! You get to draw one of the characters from Dances with Demons as a different animal. Yeah, that's it! Or as a human. Or something else...-shifty eyes-. xD Though preferrably animal or human, lulz.

1. Cannot be a different canine. Don't turn a wolf into a fox, that doesn't actually count. xD
2. Must be one of the characters from DwD.
3. Markings can be changed, but I'd prefer if they were the same or at least of similar colouring.
4. Any animal you want. x3
5. As said with the others, digitally or traditionally. :3
6. As with number two, this can be drawn in some sort of a scene, it doesn't have to be a ref sheet or something.
